Certainly God speaks to me. Just as I was feeling very conscious of myself due to my specs and also I began to feel annoyed when there was a black man that accidentally knocked my shoulders on my way to church. I was so surprised and guilty of my reaction cause it has been years since I last felt so annoyed. Like usually I am not bothered about small things like that. Then I just felt so condemned that I reacted in such a nasty manner.

And certainly, Pastor Prince preached about the Song of Solomon where the bride is speaking to the bridegroom. We are the bride and Jesus is the bridegroom. In this verse, the bride was saying that she is dark like the tents of Kedar (Kedar's tent are like black in colour) yet she is lovely as the curtains of Solomon (which is really beautiful). Yet, she is more conscious of the fact that she is dark as seen from the verses behind.

All along, it was her that is speaking, but when she asked the bridegroom where He feed the flock and rest them, He replied for the first time," If you do not know, O fairest among women...". Notice in this verse, Despite the fact that she thinks she is dark, yet He calls her fairest among women (most beautiful among all women in NIV). Just as we are the bride, we are the fairest in His eyes and we ought to be conscious of that. I ought not be conscious of my specs or whatsoever, but be conscious of His glory and beauty in me.

And also the fact that I felt annoyed sometimes, its just because I am living in this fallen world, and am in flesh. Though my bad habits have been taken away through the cross, yet there is inclinations that exist just because I live in this world. Just like how our ears still hear the rings of a bell even though the bell stops ringing, so are our bad habits. Yet do not feel condemn, but know that God is our righteousness. And we are His righteousness. There is no condemnation in Christ. And when I know that, I just am not bothered about small things like these again.

We are all called to be leaders. This is the word from God, leaders (Moses is a great leader) are to be strong and courageous. This means that we should be bold, and when there is a need to confront or to stand your stand, DO SO! We are to have courage to get the things we want, to request the things that is needed for our good and the good of others. Continue in the word and whatever we set our hands on, It SHALL PROSPER.

Was quite touched that my brother bought me this little CJ7. Actually I never really fancied this thingy. So when I first received it, I was like in my mind thinking, "y give me this? I don really like". Then he said that he always saw me buying CJ7 to give to my friends but I never have one. So he thought of buying one that is the cutest among all others that I bought for others. Touching huh? Yes, it is one lucky stuff that is attached to my hp. =)

God took Abraham (who is around 100 years old)(Isaiah 21:3) out to see the story of the stars one night when he was still barren without child with Sarah. He showed him how many his descendents will be- as many as the stars. This helped Abraham to visualize his decendents. We are actually his descendents and know that through us, all nations on earth will be blessed.

Jesus has paid the price so that we are healed. No matter what sickness you have, just believe that He has bore all our sins and iniquities so that we do not have to bear the sickness. Therefore, we will have peace and healing. Healing comes first thirty fold, then fifty fold and then hundred fold. Amen.

Whenever you need to meet your boss to discuss your ideas or challenges, just meditate upon this verse that He will help you speak and will teach you what to say. Either way, when you going to going to give a presentation or meet someone, just remember that He is your wisdom and will surely make favour fall upon you when you speak.

I realized when we were young, we used to play musical chairs. The music will play while we will be encircling the chairs and when the music stops, we will snatch to sit the chairs. Those who lose and have to do forfeit are those who do not get to snatch a seat.

When do you know we also do that every morning? Make a guess when we do that?

Yes, it is when we take MRT. When the announcement of the yellow line (music) starts and the door opens, all will rush into the empty train and snatch to sit on the seats. Those who do not snatch will have to stand which is their forfeit. Well, just an interesting observation I always wanted to express.

My First Verse Design

This thought still lingers in my mind. It was actually told by my trainer yesterday as I was sitting behind and preparing for some stuff. Its meant to be a joke but I find it particularly meaningful.

There was someone who ask another person why God did not answer his prayer. The other person replied,"Who says God never answer your prayer, maybe God's answer is No?" And the reason why it is no is because we are not prepared. We want to be somewhere, but then again, our character, our strengths, our endurance are not built, if God had allowed what we want to happen, it might just overwhelm us. So the time might not be right for now. For all things has its season.

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you .

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.(1 Timonthy 4:12-14).

Many a times, we let our age determine what we should do and what we should not. Many times, there are things I want to do like giving talks but always something just stopped me making me think that I am too young, who will want to listen? Also I wanted to draw and publish a book. But then again, something just stop me again, making me feel that I am too young, who will want to read such a young author's book? Yet, this message just spoke to my heart.

All I need is the word (bible) for all encouragement and answers come from there and not from man. Do not neglect my gift. My gift of drawing and speech. Do not belittle them for it is of the Lord. I should persevere in them and therefore others shall see my progress. What does this means? It means I need to do something just as little as given, and not idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossops and busybodies, saying things which they ought not (1 Timonthy 5:13) (well, I do not like gossips and busybodies)

Met up with June for dinner. As we are chatting, she shared this verse with me.

If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.
The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.
You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.
The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you (Deut 28).

I too, want to have these blessings. But I always wonder how? I can't possibly follow all the laws in the bible. Then she said:"I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds (Hebrews 10:16)." Oh yes... just by following my heart, I have fulfilled God's commandent! Amen.

She also shared about the verse that said that what little we have, when we make use of it, God will multiply it more. I have the talent of drawing, if I were to make use of the little talent I have, God will certainly multiply more. This just gives me faith to continue drawing.

Well, recently I just have a lot of thoughts racing through my mind but not able to express it out verbally cause some of them is too deep and solemn for anyone to be interested in listening. Therefore, blogging is a way for me to express my thoughts.

I was hooked onto The Legend recently with my favourite Bae Yong Jun in the show. I had never failed to see any of his productions caused he always acted in a way that stirred the hearts of many. His eyes are full of compassion and emotion. I realised the tremendous similarity of the show and the story in the bible.



This show is about a Fire Prietress who was owned the power of fire but was taken away by the Lord and given to a lady. However, the lady went berserk when she thought that her baby is going to die therefore turning to a Black Phonix.

They all became humans again after 2 thousand years later. In search of the four symbols and the Joosin King will enable man to control the power of heaven to reclaim the peaceful land 2 thousand years ago. In the show Bae Yong Jun is the Lord and Joosin King who gathers the symbols while another actor also wanted to be King therefore also in search of the symbols.

In the show, I find great similarity when the four symbols represents passion, serene mercy, pure courage and wrath. It just represents the wrath of God when He created the earth yet seeing man sinning and killing each other and disobeying His commandments. However, with his serene mercy, He choose to forgive the people and with great passion, gave up His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die in our place taking up all our sins 2 thousand years ago in our place.

The show also protray Bae Yong Jun to be merciful and compassionate with the soldiers under him as well as in the other nations. It just reflects Jesus. All Jesus think about is always others just as so does the King in the show. Despite of betrayal from mankind, the King still choose to trust those who betrayed him just like Jesus. The king was righteous and just, just like Jesus.

And the way the evil man wanted to gain access to the Sacred Tree through the use of the four symbols and the blood of the Joosin King resembles the Tree of Life in which whosoever eats of the tree shall have eternal life in the bible.

Its just the story of Jesus, His love, His compassion and love for the people. How ironical that people are willing to watch something like that yet refuse to even hear about the story from the bible. It just shows how the devil has covered the eyes and ears of people that they are anti Christ.

Ever seen people who got so hooked up with computer games that they procastinate on doing things they ought to do?

I have read about the reason why but after reading "Nurturing the winner and genius in your child" by Adam Khoo and Gary Lee that sparks of some inspiration to write this entry. This book was loan to be by a colleague at work. Well, actually wanted to just see the illustrations in this book to aid in my comic drawings. However, ended up reading the contents cause it was too interesting. I also found out that although its for parents, I find it applicable even in my life as a student. And also for coaching my students.

But I prefer to talk about the reasons why some people are absorbed in their world of virtual games. In actual fact, most of the people who spend most of their time playing games are in the state of denial. Being in a world of intense competition like Singapore where everything and everyone demands the best out of us, it forces us to feel that we are incompete to achieve certain things. However, being in a virtual world where we can control and manipulate characters in just a stroke of buttons, give us a false sense of control. We are able to control the fate of the characters and eventually getting the outcome of what we wanted by becoming super heros in the game. "This prolonged use of computer games could result in the commitment of their nervous system to responding solely to instant gratification and this explain why parents today are finding it harder to motivate their teens to study".

However, there is a reason why gamers are able to fully concentrate in the game but not in class. The answer lies in simply the utilization of both the left and right brain. By playing the game, it actually enables gamers to use their logic, analysis, language to interact with other gamers and solve mysteries thereby activating their left rain while the colours, movements, emotions activate their right brain.

Therefore, in order to study effectively, one has to make use of both parts of the brain which is elaborated in this book as well as "I am gifted, so are You".

Time at work seems to pass by very fast. Soon I only left with 2 more weeks to the end of my internship. Today my supervisor sat down with me to discuss my timeline at which my tasks are to be completed. Initially, I thought that they just want to see something, but I did not expect them to put in so much thought in it. My supervisor said that after discussing with my head, there are things that I need to add on the timeline. Somehow, I felt a bit touched that they bothered to put in the effort and time to discuss about the things I can accomplish. Despite their busy schedules to close deals and all.

Towards the end of the day, they had a basketball game. Initially I thought since I was going to meet Ash for movie, I thought that it was not good to be late so I rejected the offer to join them for basketball. Actually I so much wanted to see them play basketball. Like looking at people you know playing basketball is a total different experience compared to watching basketball. The only thing was that if all are playing, it only left me who is not playing and only seeing.

Somehow, I supposed I really treasure the little time I have over here. When God's favour surrounds me, I always find the place I am in and the people I met so favourable to me. This will make me feel sad if I am leaving. Again, this shall be a place of found memories. Just like the days at SAM. Thank you Jesus, for this wonderful experience.

This article hit the cover page of TIME magazine 9 June 2008. Tony Blair is Britain's former Prime Minister is a believer of Christ and is a Christian. He is one who knows God personally and seek him without fail every Sunday even when he is overseas doing business. He would ask his staff to find a church overseas to worship and make sure that the press did not learn of it. Unlike Bush and Clinton who are always photographed holding a bible coming out from a church.

He embraced Christianity in the mid-1970s and God has blessed him so much since then. God has made him the head and not the tail, above only and never beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13). He will never disappoint those who put their trust in Him. I believe He will also take me to places far beyond what I can ever imagine or think of. Jesus is the solution to everything. He is my creatively, He is my diligence, He is my wisdom, He is lover, He never leave me or forsake me even when I am at my lowest, almost forgotten by the world. Yet, He never leaves me. He knows how I feel and provide me with consolation.

As what Tony Blair also said that in a rich world, " without spiritual values, there is an emptiness that cannot be filled by material goods and wealth". I totally agree with that. How often do you feel that even when you have done all entertainment like clubbing, drinking, dancing, movies and yet there is still an emptiness in your heart? The emptiness will cause some people to lose their self and find love in all the wrong places. But there is truly One who really loves you and wants to embrace you with His everlasting love and mercy. Therefore, the question lies in whether you want to be loved by the one who will love unconditionally.

After a long time, finally met up with Eileen for a meal. She came to Tanjong Pagar and recommended me Dennis Restaurant. The place is at the KTV area. The food there I must admit is really good and reasonable. They seems to specialized in breakfast as well as western food. They have a free flow of mushroom soup and other soup which I forgot is what. The quality is good with lots of mushrooms (my fav). They also have free flow of desserts which is red bean soup for this day. The main course which is my chicken chop is also great.

Anyway, I enjoyed the meal with Eileen as we catch up with each others' lives. Till now still think her laughter is infectous. And did I mentioned that she blessed me the meal? So thankful for that.

Today I attended a talk by Adam sitted right at the back of the room with the identity not as an audience but a staff (intern also considered k). Somehow I felt God has been so good to me to place me there. Its like when I was sitting there, I was so thankful that I am there.

Not really going to share what he said which you can either buy his book or attend his course. He shared something I never hear before about his wife and him. There is this book that read, "The 5 languages of Love".

1) Physical touch

2) Words of affection

3) Gifts

4) Acts of service

5) Quality time

Basically different people has different ways of experiencing love. Some people felt love in one or two of the above mentioned ways. He described about the way how differently both of them experienced love but soon found out the strategy to communicate with what each other thinks what love is.

Physical touch is for instance need of hugs and kisses, while words of affection are "I love You etc", gifts is giving flowers, chocolates etc, acts of service are like doing little things like fixing things at home etc and lastly quality time is listening attentively to what other party is saying and shopping with her. (description of more to how a female felt love for that last 3 points)

To a certain extent, I think its quite true. Actually I felt that all applies to me though some has a bigger impact. Well, don't feel like telling you what is my soft spot. Haha... Anyway, you all can think of which ways makes you feel love. Its quite interesting.

Today is double grace day- 5 (grace) + 5 (grace). I am so greatly blessed by my Lord. Though today is in the office, I felt that I am able to contribute be it as small as designing some stuff and some other stuff.

During lunch time, at first went with my team for lunch. Went to this Bluewest resturant near my office. And while we were all seated, Adam actually joined us together with other trainers! Can you believe it? I am sitting beside beside my idol. Too bad I am too shy to take picture. My face I am sure turned red. He treated all of us for the meal. Oh what blessings I have received. Nice head, nice supervisor, nice trainer and nice colleague. I really experience generousity when I am in this company. No wonder they are so blessed. They have a big big heart.

My God is great and He loves me so much. Praise the Lord. All glory to Him and Him alone. Thank you Jesus.
