How to wake early?
I am sure many people face this problem of difficulty in waking early. I bet the scene when you slammed your alarm clock off the moment it rang and doze off to bed very familiar. Either that you snooze it and return to your dreams. You end up waking late and sleeping late.
Well, here are some interesting ways you can actually break this vicious cycle. You might think that I am going to say sleep early and rise early. But not this time round, the trick is actually to 'practice' waking the moment the alarm rings. What I mean by this is to act the scenario as similar as the waking moments as possible. It may sound silly but it really works! You begin by stimulating those moments for example at 7pm when you are wide awake and close the windows and off the lights, wear your pajamas, rested in your favorite sleeping position and set the alarm few minutes after. Then once the alarm rings, rise to off it and stretch your arms pretending to be yawning. Get your legs planted on the ground and do what you usually do. Repeat this about 3 to 5 times each day until it become a subconscious thing in your mind. Soon, you realize that it is automatic that you wake up and wash up the moment your alarm rings.
In addition, just think of the time you are going to waste by sleeping additional 2 hours a day. You lose 4 weeks a year by sleeping that 2 hours each day! Think about the time you can use for holiday overseas. You has just wasted time to do the things you would otherwise enjoy.
Moreover, think about the benefits you would gain. More time to do the things you need, increased alertness thus productivity, and additional time to have do the things you always wanted yet complain 'no time'.
