I was shocked that I always do not notice one thing! Joseph is the husband of Mother Mary, the mother of Jesus! Mine, I must have been so blinded to notice this fact. All along I thought the Joseph mentioned in the story being the husband of Mary is someone else of the same name as Joseph. But when I studied the genealogy of Jesus Christ, I realised its Joseph, the son of Jacob afterall.
Perhaps all along, the story protrayed of Jesus's parents are like normal being having fear and worries that I thought its just a normal person. Moreover, I thought Jesus was borne in a poor family though He attracted lots of wise men from the East bring lots of money. But I thought Joseph is the second head other than Pharaoh in Eygpt? Oh Jesus, suddenly I had the craving to know more about you. Indeed you stirred my desire for you. Praise your Holy Name.
And yes, the story of Ruth has indeed spurs my desires to know more truth about Jesus. I thought I lost that desire. But when I am faithless, He is stil faithful. Praise the Lord. Thank you Jesus for not letting me go.
