Apologies for my loyal readers for not updating my blog for quite a while.
Previously I read a few books one of which is Rich Dad, Poor Dad and its series. My! it did open my eyes to a lot of things. I began to realise how differently the rich and the poor thinks. Just the thinking alone can make a huge difference in the results that they will be having.
One thing you will be amazed, poor and middle class people are bringing home only 50 percent of their income. So you will be asking where has the other 50% went to. Well, where else but to the government in the form of tax. Then you will wondering how about the rich? Well, rich people can determine how much tax they want to pay. They spend most of the money on buying assets and the remaining amount they have are taxed. That amount is so much lesser than the poor whose tax are deducted from the total amount of money they earn.
The way they manage their money is also different. The poor scrimp and save, scrimp and save and living frugally, woring hard all their lives for other people only to be depending on the CPF for retirement. They believe that they work hard all their life only to be poor when they are old.
How about the rich? They are open to opportunities coming their ways. They use their money wisely in investing on assets in businesses etc. They know how to utilise other people's money to get the money to buy assets which provide passive income to them. They believe in retiring young and rich.
So have you ever thought where you are heading to in life? Do you see yourself as one who is old and feeble with the only leisure being watching afternoon time movies and eating porridge or one who is just 40+ exploring the other continents and doing activities like wind surfing eating lobster for breakfast with your loved ones? 3 Blessed Comments
It was extremely packed this Sunday. Total attendance jumped by another thousand to be fifteen thousand plus in year 2007. Anatasia and me managed to be the last two entering the main service. God's glory superabounds. There were no more spaces around except for 2. However, two ladies snatch with us. Somehow, I just took it my stride. I got a modesty cloth ready to cover myself as I was wearing a skirt even if we had to sit on the floor. The moment I sat down, Ana was murmuring that I should not have said that since that day(long ago) I never had to sit on the floor. I was just kidding along with her when suddenly the two girls wanted to gave up the seat to us because I was wearing a skirt!
I don't know how you will think, but I just felt it was the favour and grace of Daddy God that gave us that seats. Praise Jesus.
Anyway,today's sermon was on Daddy God's love for me. Once again, I felt His intense love for me. Pastor Prince was sharing about a story about how the governor of a country who do not have a real dad because he was borne of unwed parents when he was just 9 years old. Everyone in the village despised him and made fun of him. Some intentionally asked who was the father. In the village, everyone was to go for church because the village was very small whoever is absent will be obvious. This boy always come the last and leave the earliest because he did not wish to be caught in the crowd to be asked about his dad.
However, there was this day that the pastor changed and the sermon ended very early. He was therefore stuck in the crowd. In addition, the pastor was standing by the exit to greet the villagers. As he was about to walk past the pastor, the pastor stopped the boy and asked," Hey, who is your dad?"
By then the boy was trembling and the people around him froze while some drew their ears nearing to hear if the boy will tell who is the father. The pastor, upon sensing all these, and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit exclaimed:" I know who your daddy is, He is the Heaven of Glory, the creator of Heaven and Earth. Go ahead and claim whatever that is yours. You are the son of the God most High!"
Upon hearing that, the boy has the widest smile on His face and happily race out of that church. And now he is the governor of a country.
This story tells us that once we know who we are and our identity, we will go out into the world and gain victory for His Glory's sake. I knew how much I am loved, how about you? 0 Blessed Comments
One evidence that God makes everything bad work together for my good is this.
I was supposed to go to Suntec City for church but was not very sure which bus to take. June smsed me to be Bus 75 and alight at Millenium Walk. In my mind, I have this doubt about how to go to Suntec City from Millenium Walk. However, I choose not to let this trouble my heart. I know He will find a solution for me.Together with Susan and Melissa, we took the bus from the bus-stop. Suddenly, Susan asked a question," Are we heading the right direction?" I looked at her, and then messaged my friend.
"Opposite side" is the reply I got. I stared at Susan and Melissa and we alighted at the next stop. One thing about them is that they like me take things in our stride. They are cool friends. They don't grumble about us taking the wrong side or whatsoever. We just calmly alight and took the bus opposite.
I dozed off while in the bus. When I woke up, surprisingly my church mates are all in the bus. You see, God has made bad thing occur for my good. By me not letting my heart be troubled, He is able to make things turn around for good for my sake. Praise Lord. 0 Blessed Comments
Ever wondered why some things just don't happen at the right place at the right time? Like when you least expect to meet the person,then the person turned up. Which makes your day brighter? Or when the timing was not right,even when you felt that you are sure to be promoted, but a person just came along, and took your position. Actually it is all the right timing for the right happening.
When a opportunity comes, you cannot help but ponder whether you should grasp hold of it. But if you ask yourself what that opportunity can bring you to, you will know if its worth it or not. Its just like when the right timing, you will be in a right place meeting the right people. But then again, you need the boldness to do something that is in front of you. Maybe you are appointed to be a leader of a team. But if you lack the boldness to take the role, you will just miss the opportunity.
There is no point in one striving to be in a place at certain time or place. It takes the divine placement by God to make you at the right place at the right time. As long as you rest in Him, He will fixed diving occurance in your life.
Be it finding your life time partner, or be coming across a business opportunity or be it closing a deal. All these the Lord will make divine arrangements which will make you delightful. As long as you put your trust in Him. God Bless. 0 Blessed Comments

A weird topic you may find this to be. Some of you might say of course we want to be well. Then let me tell you then. Some people choose not to be well for the attention they will receive. Well means to have wholeness, to be free from lingering disorders. Lingering disorders will affect your personality, relationship and self image.
Some people are wallowed into self pity. They might be thinking," I'm all alone, don't have anyone to help me. Other people have let me down. I cannot trust people" Notice this, all this is what the person is thinking about themselves. There is no evidence that anyone told them that way.
The issue is if you're serious about being well, if you really want to be made physicially and emotionally well, YOU MUST GET UP AND GET ON WITH YOUR LIFE. There is certainly no point lying around and feeling sorry for yourself. Maybe you may face some form of emotion hurt. But if you think about it. The person who caused the hurt will not be affect regardless of how you may feel. Your grief will never affect that person. Yet, you are the one who is feeling miserable about it. One way to let go of this grief is to forgive this person. Forgiving this person will enable you to let go of your resentment and disapointing feelings which are so destructive to you. Yet this feelings will not be affecting the party whom has let you down. It is for your own good that you forgive. That is the only way you are able to free yourself.
This whole issue about getting up and move on is inspired by a story in the bible.
One day Jesus saw a man lying there by the pool of Bethesda who is crippled hoping for a miracle. He asked the man, do you want to be made well? Jesus asked a straightforward questing but the man replied in a interesting manner. He began listing all the excuses," Other people always seem to get ahead of me, I don't have a chance in life."
I love the way Jesus replied him. Instead of wallowing in his sad story and pitying him. He looked at him and commanded, " If you are serious about getting well, if you really want to get out of this mess, here's what you must do: Get up off the ground, take your bed and be on your way.
He did as he was told and is able to walk. This simple story tells us that God wanted something greater for us. But if we are not able to do away with our saddness, and focus on other useful things in life. God is not able to extend His blessings upon us. With this I like to encourage you guys to focus on what you have and not what you don't have to be truly happy. God Bless. 1 Blessed Comments
