My apologies for not updating my blog lately. Been real busy recently. Can see lots of my readers run to other sites instead right? Oh well, at least there is still some faithful ones who will view occasionally to see if I did update. Thanks very much for these faithful people.
I just got this idea coming onto my way. I felt that God had created us for a purpose. Everyone has his or her own potential to do their best in life and to uncover what is it that God has planned for his or her life. Unfortunately, many people instead of following God's plan or their own plan, they follow the plan of others. Am I wrong? Certainly not!
From the day we are borne, we follow what our parents told us to do. We go for nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools, some junior colleges and some polytechnics, and finally universities. But at the end of the day, what have we achieved? Just what have we got? At most, its just a tiny puny $2k salary if you happen to be a degree holder! And lets calculate how much we have invested for the many years of studies. Let's give $10,000 for education from nursery to junior college with all the school fees, books, lecture notes, project materials and $22,000(conservative figures)for uni education. Total=$32,000 and 18 years of education in exchange for salary of $2.2k! Just imagine how long you are going to ROI! With our increasing GST of 7% next year and ever increasing living standards, yet our salary never seem to increase, it just seem that we might never retire.
I supposed that is why Mr Lee,touched on the PAP’s fundamentals of racial harmony, meritocracy, enterprise and inclusiveness. It seem the only way out of this rat race is to be an entrepreneur. Instead of letting the government, parents, teachers control your life, why not you take charge of your own lives and even carve the lives of others?

Well, lets just say that knowledge is priceless. =)
well... I agree to a certain extent only. I think it's knowing what to do with your knowledge is what makes it priceless. Having knowledge alone won't do us any good. Its just like money sitting in saving accounts and not using it to invest on things which can make money.
I guess knowledge is like common sense. It'll come into great use when you least expect it. I mean, it's supposed to come naturally. Knowledge will certainly help in a world of where survival of the fittes.
