Just when Jacqueline informed me that her friend is joining her for lunch, my supervisor wanted to treat me for lunch. We went all the way to Sunshine Plaza to buy some flowers. Before that, we ate to our fill at one of the tim sum store. Soon after we went to Raffles City to get fresher green orchids.
A lot of preparation is required for the farewell dinner of Ambassodor Hugh Swift. The dinner involves many directors and professors who gathered in memorial of Brother McNally Joseph. Just the running of the dvd and I have to ask Talip for help several times. Needed his help to bring all the items down to the Glass Hall. Nora also helped me in this. I suppose all these are good things happening. I don't have to struggle to carry so many things down myself but got helpful ones to help me. Everything run rather smoothly throughout the event.
Prof Tommy Koh is really a nice chap. He came to express his apology of us skipping our meals several times. Just from his eyes I can sense his sincerity. Anywhere, good things always happen. God Bless.
